What do you want to be?

As children we are asked, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" "Doctors, Policeman, Fireman, Astronaut," the list goes on. What I started to contemplate as this related to me was that I wanted to solve problems and help people.

I tried the medical field, I was a Certified Athletic Trainer. I hoped I could find the opportunity to match my love for competition and find the way to help other athletes accomplish their dreams. I tried the education field. I obtained a master's degree in education and a certification to not only teach, but coach athletics. I hoped I could find the opportunity to mold young minds and set them up for success. I joined the military and started a job as a leadership development coach. I hoped I could find the opportunity to find like minded people whom I could help along their journey. None of these opportunities were fulfilling.

I couldn't problem solve and help others attain their goals without doing some internal problem solving of my own. Through a hard fought battle with myself, I found that the reason these opportunities weren't fulfilling was because they weren't intentional and were independent experiences. What I mean was that every opportunity only gave me a piece of what I was looking for.

But how could I know which piece fit where, or which of the things I had learned through life was the right one to focus on? The key is RELATIONSHIP! I needed a place where I could build a relationship first, and only then could I find out how to best help people. Live Lion Hearted is that opportunity. The primary value is building strong relationships, because that is the only way we can understand what the other people's goals are and what attaining them looks like.

If that sounds like something you are interested it, I would love to build a relationship with you!
